Removal of His Eminence Pie de Valence
We, Arduino Della Scala, Cardinal Dean of the Sacred College, by the will and decision of His Holiness Sixtus IV, Supreme Pontiff and Pope of the Universal Church, before the Almighty and under the gaze of His Two Prophets, Aristotle and Christos,
Have ruled and ordered, and by this perpetual and final edict, let us say, rule and order the removal of Pie de Valence [Pie de Valence] from the role of Cardinal-priest of the French Geodogmatic Consistory, following his resignation.
He is granted the rank of emeritus for his services.
We wish our dear brother all the best for the future and the blessing of the Most High.
